Vinyasa Yoga Class Aug 29th, 2011

Wow. Total silence. Class was totally quiet tonight when I came in to a room of 11 yogis. And WOW did they build some energy! We started off very quietly with directed breath attention meditation. We flowed through 2 waves of mandalas ( oh did you know they make mats for that? ) Mat

then hit the floor for a deep savasana. Thanks to Anne for requesting some neck tension dissolving work. We used a neck bolster to prop ourselves up in savasana then ended with 5 minutes of extremely slow, careful neck stretching. Congrats to Heather on her move back up to Boston – you will be missed! Wishing you lots of love and luck in this new chapter!
