Vinyasa Yoga Class Aug 8th, 2011

Eight great yogis tonight. Congrats to Ed for finishing his 2 year project at work! We celebrated by really focusing on exhaling. A long slow mindful exhalation can help the body really get the message loud and clear: “Everything is OK. You can just relax now.” In more scientific terms, it activates the parasympathetic nervous system to help your body relax from too much stress and anxiety. So next time you’re feeling pretty stressed out, just exhale.
